Rob's mother, Joan Davis, died on Wednesday afternoon.

The visitation and funeral will be held on Friday, April 16th at St. Stephen's Church, Ottawa (930 Watson Street) . Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the Service which will begin at 6:00 p.m. A reception will follow the Service in the church hall.

DAVIS, Joan Charlotte (nee Margetts) Suddenly, on Wednesday, April 07, 2010 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Canon Eldon Davis. Much loved mother of the Venerable Robert (and his wife the Rev. Cathy) of Pembroke, Susan Scott (and her husband Gary) of Port Alberni, BC, Hilary Davis of Toronto, Jim (and his wife Linda) of Nepean, the Rev. Judith Paulsen (and her husband Patrick) of Oshawa and Guy (and his wife Joanne) of Ottawa. Proud and loving grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Philip, Robert, Bruce and Stuart Margetts, and their families, all of Australia. Predeceased by brothers Ivor and Geoffrey. Friends may call at St. Stephen's Anglican Church, 930 Watson Street on Friday, April 16th from 4 pm until time of service, which will be held in the Church at 6:00 pm, followed by a reception.
