All are all welcome to receive the bread and wine.
If you do not wish to drink from the common cup, please just receive the bread
and refrain, for hygienic reasons, from dipping the bread in the wine.
Please be assured that receiving the bread alone is still a complete communion.

IN OUR PARISH:
THE VESTRY MEETING WILL BE HELD SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 7TH in the Church at 2:30pm. The theme for Vestry this year is “To everything there is a season” Ecc. 3:1. Please have your reports in to the office by Tuesday, January 19th. This year Vestry will be chaired by the Rev. Mary Ellen Berry.
THE WORLD DAY OF PRAYER this year will be March 5 at 1:00 pm at Holy Name of Mary Church. We need a representative from St Paul’s. The commitment is light: one meeting on Feb. 3rd at 10:00 am and one run-through of the service. Contact Maureen Gureau at 613 256-3471.

PREPARING THE RECTORY FOR PAINTING. Our new Rector arrives on March 1st and the Rectory needs to be ready when she arrives!!! This is a project that allows each of us to take pride in St. Paul’s and do something tangible to welcome Rev. Pat Martin, our new Rector. The Rectory will be unlocked every Saturday and Sunday this month to get this work done. If you or your group can help but missed the sign up sheets, please speak to Gary or Mike.

DE-MYSTIFYING JUDAISM: Thursday, February 25, 7:30pm. Almonte United Church. Rabbi Reuven Bulka is a world famous speaker and writer. He hosts a local radio program, writes a regular column in the Ottawa Citizen, and has written over 35 books on Jewish topics. He is based at Machzikei Hadas, a Modern Orthodox shul in Ottawa. The Rabbi will provide an introduction to Judaism, describe the nature and size of the local Jewish community, address diversity within the Jewish tradition, and answer your questions! This is the fifth religion of focus in the series "De-Mystifying World Religions Cost: by donation. (suggestion of $5 per individual or family to help support the series)
SKATEBOARD PARK IN ALMONTE. A public forum will be held Monday 7PM January 25th upstairs at the Old Town Hall regarding a permanent, state of the art Skateboard Park in Almonte. It is open to youth and adults. There will be a report on the project so far.
